Fair Pay, Real Dignity

Fair Pay, Real Dignity

It is easy for a brand to call itself ethical. It is harder to open the books. We commit to paying every maker a fair, living wage for their region — well above local day-labour rates — along with reliable hours and a safe place to work.

A fair wage is not generosity. It is simply the correct price for skilled, careful work done by hand.

Why does this matter so much? Because a fair, predictable income is the single thing that changes a life. It means children stay in school instead of working. It means a roof that doesn’t leak, medicine when it’s needed, and the quiet dignity of being able to say, “I made this, and I was paid properly for it.”

When you choose a handmade piece over a mass-produced one, you are voting for that dignity. You are saying that the person behind the object matters as much as the object itself.

Every purchase changes a life

Each piece you buy funds skills training and fair-paid work for a maker who needed the chance — beautiful ceramics, with a purpose.
